How do I map form answers to client and matter fields?
Use Design Studio field mapping so intake answers can become durable client, matter, party, contact, or user data.
Open the form in Design Studio, edit the field, and choose the entity type plus the target entity field by name. CMIForge stores the durable field definition ID behind the scenes, so users can pick friendly names without needing to know internal keys.
Mapped answers can save during conversion or from a workflow outcome that saves mapped entity fields after approval. Use label overrides only when the wording on a specific form needs to differ from the underlying field name.
